ribbon cutting laguna beachThe Chamber of Commerce is inviting everyone to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony and networking mixer at Ristorante Rumari located at 1826 South Coast Highway on Saturday, May 17, 2014. The Chamber events run simultaneously with the Pearl Street Shopping District Hospitality Day Celebration.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place between 3:00 and 3:30 and will be officiated by representatives from the City Council and Chamber Board of Directors. A Chamber of Commerce hosted mixer will take place immediately following the ceremony from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Appetizers and beverages will be served at a cost of only $10 for members and $20 for non-members.

Rumari’s has been a favorite of locals and tourists alike for over 25 years. The Crivello family came from Sicily and made Laguna Beach their home. Vince Crivello stated, “Laguna Beach is home, I raised my kids here and my brothers and parents work in the restaurant. All of our customers are like family to us. We are very lucky.”

The Pearl Street District, an association of restaurants, specialty & apparel shops, beauty, health & wellness services, galleries, hotels and automotive services, is located on South Coast Highway between Bluebird Canyon and Ruby Street. Multiple businesses will participate on Hospitality Day (from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.) by offering food, music, beverages, wine, free raffle prizes, gifts, promotional savings and a fashion show.
