In over one hundred worldwide responses to the inquiry, “In three words or less, what makes a person sexy,” here’s what our respondents had to say:
Character matters most. If you are compassionate, you dominate the sexy food chain. Second to compassion is a cocktail of stylish confidence, playful charisma, and courageous depth. To seal a sexy title, abandon self-centeredness for consciousness and pay careful attention to the one you want. Honesty begets sexy trustworthiness. And, life experience determines emotional intelligence, so live an enriched life if you want to be considered sexy.
Secondary to character comes physical attributes. Many men admit they would gladly sleep with a Victoria’s Secret model. However, if that super model had none of the above listed characteristics, the same men said they’d pass. Musky pheromones, curvy curves, and response to taste and touch rated higher than slim bodies. You don’t need expensive clothes, but crotch-less panties and sophisticated blazers do help create sex appeal. Lip-biting, hair-twirling, dashing smiles, and intensely fixed eyes – sexy. Energetic radiance creates an overall healthy, sexy appearance so take good care of yourself.
Besides character and physical attributes, you can do many things to be sexy. From my own perspective, the sexiest thing a man can do for a woman is to use his power to catapult her career. This use of power for the greater common societal good represents pretty-damn-sexy confidence and an investment in her independence – a counter-intuitive sticky feature. Telling me I am beautiful – and meaning it – is lovely, but when a man shows me that he believes in me, that’s true erotica.
When you feel sexy is a glamorized, unachievable event, return to this article for truth. Sexy people aren’t looking for perfection as depicted in heavily Photoshopped images. Sexy people are seduced by kindness and humor.
If you responded to our survey, don’t be offended if your exact wording wasn’t included. I reduced your responses to categories, spun a web of words, and eliminated synonyms to keep things short, simple, and easy to grasp for those who can read between the lines.
Next up, who is sexy? You tell me.
